Notes:
Nicolas trained and worked as an environmental engineer until his growing curiosity about the workings of the body and his eagerness to work closer to people triggered him to drastically change direction and become an osteopath. In 2010, he graduated from a 5-year university degree in osteopathy in Melbourne (Australia), where he worked with enthusiasm and success until he moved back to Switzerland in late 2022. Nicolas holds practice rights in Switzerland since 2022.
Nicolas views osteopathy as a holistic manual medicine rather than a mere musculoskeletal therapy. He has a particular interest in chronic disorders, which often call for a more detailed look at the interface between our musculoskeletal system (our ‘external shell’) and more ‘internal’ tissues (our organs and associated nerves, vessels and fasciae). The diagnostic and treatment techniques Nicolas uses make his approach truly global. Being gentle and precise, his treatments are well suited to people of all ages.
Nicolas is very dedicated to learning and regularly takes classes with, among others, world-renowned osteopath Jean-Pierre Barral. Nicolas is a certified practitioner of visceral manipulation (since 2019), and became certified by the Barral Institute in 2023 to teach visceral manipulation.
Outside of work, Nicolas regularly practices yoga and meditation, and is a big fan of hiking (or skiing when there is good snow) and travelling.
Nicolas is looking forward to working with you to help you overcome your key physical barriers, restore your resilience and access your full health potential.
